Some Bunny is One has to be one of the cutest first birthday themes around! This post will share some inspiration and show you how to pull off a darling bunny-themed birthday for your little one!
There are a lot of magical moments you look forward to as parents. My child’s first birthday was one of those for me. No lie, I’m pretty sure I was on Pinterest pinning party ideas when I was in labor. I chose a Some Bunny is One themed party and I can’t wait share all of the details with you in this post!
It’s been a very emotional time for me and it’s hard to believe my baby is one. I never want to forget this special time and I had so much fun putting together this celebration for my baby bunny.
Some Bunny is One Party Decorations
If you are planning a Some Bunny is One party. definitely look for bunny themed items around spring and Eastertime! It made is so much easier to find decorations. Here are a few of my favorite decorations from the party!
I highly recommend a balloon garland! It makes a beautiful backdrop for photos and a wonderful, statement decor piece! A wonderful local company created the garland and I just used this White Photo Backdrop to cover the TV and shelf behind it.
I purchased the High Chair Banner and added some additional scraps of pink, white and gold fabric from Hobby Lobby! I love how it turned out!
Since this party was around Easter, I had lots of luck finding bunny decor items and using things that I already had! The green moss bunnies were purchased from Target.
Since I have a Cricut machine, I cut out many of the items used to decorate! However, there are tons of Some Bunny is One banners you can purchase.
I had our entry table set up with party favors, pictures and a guest book to sign. This book was absolutely perfect for guests to sign and write EK a little message. We used these pens for signing, of course! It’s so fun to read this book as a bedtime story with all of the special messages.
Party Favors
Light pink and blue cotton candy tubs were the party favors! Each tub had bunny ears and a cute little pom pom tail on the back! The bunny ears were cut out using a Cricut machine with white and pink cardstock.
Some Bunny is One Cookies
What is a first birthday without some beautiful cookies? These custom cookies were made by Sweet Kate Cookies. They one of my favorite parts of the party and everyone loved them. The attention to detail was incredible.
Bunny Cake
I made the bunny ears just using gold pipe cleaners that I found at the Dollar Store! The cakes were made at Market Steet! i just added some floral, also from Market street! So much more affordable that the bakery options I had looked into!
The gold one topper was just purchased at Hobby Lobby!
The small cake was used as a smash cake and displayed on a small cake stand from the Target dollar spot. The big cake was served to guests and displayed on this beautiful cake plate.
Party Food
I wanted to keep food as easy as possible! I ordered fruit, vegetable and sandwich trays from Market Street. I also used a large roll of light pink plastic to cover the tables! So much easier than a bunch of tablescloths!
Bunny Bait
This Bunny Bait was a hit! It was a tasty, sweet snack mix that the kids all loved. I just created it with the following items:
- Bunny shaped marshmellows
- Pastel colored M&Ms
- Birthday Cake Bunny Grahams
For drinks, pink staws and cups were a must! I purchased these pink straws and I added little pink paper bunnies using my Cricut machine and glue dots. These pink cups aren’t solo brand, but still the best quality!
I found some cute Cotton Bunny Tails and Sour Patch Kid Rabbits for the dessert table too!
First Birthday Outfit
Some Bunny is One Party Details:
Of course we had to have the birthday girl dressed to a T! Her dress was purchased online from OC’s Kid Closet and we found the most adorable bunny shoes! They even squeak!
She also wore this Gold Floral Birthday Crown. I just redid the strap to make it into a headband and not a hat! It stayed on much better that way! A One Bib was also cute for eating cake!
I hope this post gave you some inspiration for your own little one’s big celebration! Some Bunny is One is such a fun party theme!
