How Big Could Your Pumpkin Grow?: This is a fun book for talking about size vocabulary words and getting students to use their imagination. It would be a fun book to lead into a writing activity about big pumpkins!
Pumpkin Harvest: This is a perfect non-fiction book for learning about pumpkins. It covers pumpkin colors, all in an age-appropriate way!
It’s Pumpkin Time: This sweet story about a brother and sister tending to a pumpkin patch is a classic. It’s a great read-aloud for preschoolers!
Froggy Picks a Pumpkin: The Froggy book series is always a favorite! In this book, Froggy heads to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin, but he accidentally drops it! Students will laugh out loud with this one!
Little Boo: This fictional story shows the pumpkin life cycle in action as the little pumpkin seed wishes to grow up and be scary. Involve students while reading this book aloud by having them whisper, “Boo!” when Boo is little and getting louder as he grows!
