I few weeks ago a friend with a new baby reached out to me and asked what I thought of the LOVEVERY Play Kits. Uhhh, I really didn’t know anything about them other than what I had seen here and there on Instagram.
I did a little research, okay fine…a lot of research and I am over the moon excited to share my findings and a peek inside the play kits with you! I have updated this post a few times since it was originally published because LOVEVERY has continued to add amazing products to their shop and my family has grown too!

For full disclosure, I did receive this play kit for free, but this post is not sponsored in any way! In fact, I didn’t even tell LOVEVERY that I was planning to write a post! I just love this product so much that I wanted to share it with you and answer the question that you are probably asking: Is it worth the money? So…here is my LOVEVERYPlay Kit Review!
LOVEVERY Review
LOVEVERY Baby and Toddler Play Kits
Let’s start with the basics. LOVEVERY has two types of play kits: Baby Play Kits (0-12 months) and Toddler Play Kits (13-48 months). The baby play kits are created in two-month increments (so there is a kit for months 3-4 and months 4-5) and the Toddler Play Kits come in three-month increments (so there is a kit for months 13, 14, 15 and months 16, 17, 18). Little ones change SO much in such a short amount of time, so I love how each kit targets your child’s exact needs. They just recently extended to include two and three-year-olds too!
When you subscribe, you can pay per kit or purchase the kits as a bundle and save money, plus the kit will ship automatically! More details about the process can be found on the LOVEVERY website! AND you can see exactly what is inside each box which is amazing! That’s usually my beef with subscription boxes…I hate paying and not knowing if I will like what I get.
The Baby Play Kits
I’m pretty sure at some point every parent has wondered, “How exactly do you play with a baby?” Each of the play kits answers this question and provides the toys to play with. It doesn’t get any easier than that. These pictures show The Senser Play Kit for Months 5-6.
The Senser Play Kit
This color spinning wheel may be my all-time favorite baby toy. It’s so simple, yet so engaging for babies! It makes noise as it spins and keeps baby’s attention and encourages batting. I’ve also put in on the high chair too!
This tummy time wobbler makes tummy time so much fun! It’s easy for baby to grab and also helps build core muscles needed for crawling!
The Toddler Play Kits
Currently, LOVEVERY has toddler boxes for ages 12-48 months. Below you will see a peek into The Pioneer Box for months 16, 17, and 18. You really can’t go wrong with any of the boxes and I recommend ordering based on your child’s age!
Different play items are included in each kit that meets your little one’s needs. I took out all of the items to check them out for this post, but I am planning on putting them away and enjoying them 1-to 2 at a time. Here are a few of our favorite items from inside the Pioneer Play Kit:
This cotton ball was the first thing EK grabbed out of the kit. It’s soft and easy for her to hold and throw! She hasn’t put it down since…
The Race and Chase Ramp has totally mesmerized her! It’s so fun watching her problem solve and explore motion. She was trying to put other objects down the racing ramps too! My only concern is not losing the toy cars.😜
The particular play kit includes two books. Y’all know I love board books! The books both feature real pictures and experiences that little ones will love and relate too! This book is about Max and Nana visiting a park and Max gets hurt. This book is longer and definitely has some meat to it! I love that it features an experience toddlers can relate to.
The other book included in this kit, Things I Can Do is shorter and doesn’t have a real story line too it! I really like both of the books and we will be reading them both often.
The Friends of All Shapes puzzle is also a favorite! EK really likes puzzles and she was excited and surprised to find a little friend behind each puzzle piece! It’s also great for introducing shape vocabulary words through play.
The Play Guide
Inside of each subscription box there is a play guide. This guide is an amazing resource and really makes you the expert on your baby’s development. The guide is broken up into these sections:
- The Real Deal: This section is quick introduction and reminders about your child’s development.
- Baby and You: This section talks about your baby during these specific months.
- The Play Things: This section covers ideas for using the play things in the box and the why behind the items.
- Real Life Play: This section gives ideas for real life play that your child will enjoy at this age.
This play guide is absolutely amazing and such a great resource for parents. I love the pictures and detailed (but easy to read) information. Even as a person with a degree in Early Childhood Education, I found this book to be helpful!
Other Favorites from LOVEVERY:
LOVEVERY Wooden Block Set
In addition to the play kits, LOVEVERY has some other amazing play items that can be purchased individually. Our favorite is the LOVEVERY wooden block set. I love toys that can be enjoyed for many years and essentially grow with your child. This block set is intended for children 18 to 48 months (WOW!) and does not disappoint! You can check out my entire post on this set too!

LOVEVERY Baby Play Gym
If you are shopping for a baby, be sure to check out the Play Gym. It was designed by child development experts and will keep your baby busy for the first year…and beyond! It actually turns into a fort for your child to enjoy later on too!
I didn’t have this baby play gym with my oldest and I so regret it! My youngest baby loves it so much and it keeps her busy and learning. It’s also something fun that both of my girls can play on together. This would make the most amazing baby gift too! Here are a few of my favorite features:
- It’s super easy to assemble and can be disassembled and stored.
- It comes with a few different cards for your baby to look at that can be easily changed out! You could even add pictures of family members!
- The teether, ball, and batting ring velcro off and on so baby can play with them on the play mat or on the go!

LOVEVERYPlay Kit Final Thoughts
In conclusion, I absolutely love the LOVEVERYplay kits and think they are totally worth the money! They would make an amazing gift for any child or a great thing to add to your baby registry! When you look at the kits they do seem expensive, but when you break it down and look at all of the items that are included; it’s totally worth it!
